3G at Solar Campus

Looks like the training ground (Liverpool FC Ladies' according to the Echo - although owned by TRFC) is going to get a 3G pitch installed, which is excellent news as they can really generate a lot of income. Can be used all year round, helps take the pressure off the grass pitches when the weather gets bad (as it is now), and there is a dearth of full-sized artificial pitches in the Wirral so this will be excellent to have.

Dragging this back up from a few weeks ago.

Pretty sure I read that Accrington Stanley had received around £1million in grant funding for a 4G pitch, albeit under their foundation\football in the community brand.

Surely we will do similar. I think a minimum % of time would have to be made available for community hire to qualify (evenings?)
